Substrate Preparation (The FPCB)

The foundation is the Flexible Printed Circuit Board (FPCB). High-end factories use double-sided, 2oz or 3oz rolled copper.
Thicker copper ensures better heat dissipation and less voltage drop .

Die Bonding (The Heart of COB)

Resistor & IC Integration

To regulate current and ensure the Red, Green, and Blue channels, resistors are mounted.
In Addressable RGB COB Integrated Circuits (ICs) like the WS2811 are also added to allow for dream colors.

Encapsulation (The Gel Coating)

The “secret sauce” of any factory is its encapsulation recipe. A dispensing machine covers the entire chip array with a uniform layer of translucent silicone.
RGB strips light of this silicone is usually clear to allow the pure wavelengths of red, green, and blue to mix perfectly.

Reflow Soldering & Aging

The strips pass through a multi-zone Reflow Oven to solidify all connections. and then, they enter the Aging Room.
We will age their strips for 2 to 4 hours under full load to find any premature chip failures.
